Continuous Casting Moulds

The Continuous Casting Mould is the heart of the Continuous Casting Plant.

VEM has the best in class Continuous Casting Moulds designed and manufactured to suit the end product which can be strip, billet, rod or tube.  The Mold are designed for thermal fatigue, rigidity and produces fine grain structure through uniform cooling of the strip or rod. 

Our Molds are used by major Defense PSU in India and by the largest private players as well.

Copper Zirconium Copper Blocks

Uses high purity and thermal conducitivity Copper Zirconium Copper Alloy blocks for best thermal efficiency.

The blocks are precisely and accurately machined at VEM in house manufacturing facility. 

Quality checks are ensured at every stage right from procurement of raw materials to machining to assembly to provide best results for our customers.

Continuous Casting Mold Assembly

High Grade Graphite

High-quality graphite with maximum thermal conductivity is used in the fabrication of these dies. Precise machining and polishing of the casting
die surfaces is done for intimate contact between graphite and plate cooler is
necessary to maximize heat transfer.
